Because the leakage protector is turned off, the power lock is still in the energized state, and a small amount of self discharge will be generated. Therefore, turning off the leakage protector can only prevent the battery from vulcanizing in a short time.
3. Charge once a week
Finally, let’s look at a more effective method: if the user does not use the electric cargo bike for half a year or even for a long time, he can charge it once every 2 to 3 weeks. If you really have no time, it is better to ensure that it is charged once every month.
Only by ensuring such a charging frequency can the activity of the battery active material be ensured, the service life of the electric cargo bike battery be effectively extended, and the vulcanization risk be reduced.
In short, if the electric cargo bike is not used for a long time, the above three methods can be adopted to prevent battery power loss and vulcanization.
